BAAA is a private non-federal entity comprised of former Blue Angel members, but has no membership involving current Blue Angel members. It has permission to use its logo by the United States Navy, but is not otherwise endorsed, supported or affiliated with the Department of the Navy or the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron known as the Blue Angels.
