Mtg Called to Order

• Review of accomplishments since the last biennial meeting.

Our Taxes have now been filed each year since 2022

WE are now a 501 c 19 Tax Free Veterans Organization*.

We are now a Fla State Sales Tax Free Organization,

BAAA Scholarships this year increased to total

$15,500 in Total. 5@ $2,500 and 3@$1,000.

Self-Nominations that were submitted, the votes were tallied by the Board of Directors in accordance with our policies and are listed below.

• BA Team CMC and this board want to support the team by financially supporting their end of season Family Dinner gathering. A way we can show support to them. This will allow us to better connect with the Team, be more engaging with recruitment into the BAAA and have smoother reunion communications with the Team in ongoing years.
• • Communications to/with the BAAA Board of Directors. ANY communications to the BAAA must be via,  board@blueangelsalumni.com
• If any member wants to express their experiences and opinions, please do so to the board@blueangelsalumni.com.  ALL 12 board members will see it and discussions will ensue. Return communications to the person will occur.
• FACEBOOK is a great tool to disseminate information quickly. The negative side of that tool is there are more non-BAAA members on the site than members. Old proverb, Praise in Public, counsel in private.
• 501 c 19 Tax Free Organization – Due to our organizational structure we cannot offer tax deductible donations to donors due to IRS Rules.
• However, if you do not itemize your taxes this has no bearing on making donations.
• Departing BA team members are, by our BY-Laws, members. I will provide them a BAAA Crest and Decal at Hanger.
• We will be presenting Plaques the Hellcat Team at the Hanger.
• The By-Laws are in need of a rewrite. This process will take many emails and will require approval vote by the membership after the BOD agrees on a smooth copy. The approval process will be a group Executive committee email, followed by the Directors review. Then a collective revied of the combined document. When we have a smooth draft available. We will email a ballot with an accept or decline. This will occur in 2027.
• There is a need for a member to join the BOD who has WordPress experience for assistance with web site upkeep and membership enrollment
• Ordering from the web site, password changes, etc. should be done on computer with web browser such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Web site interactions with iPhone, Android, tablets, etc. may not be an acceptable experience for users with features such as password reset unmanageable.
• General Assembly floor open for questions.
