To all those who chose to be members of the Alumni Association, the Board would like to thank you for being a part of one Sierra Hotel elite group. We would also like to thank you, our members, for your participation, your insight, and your thoughts.

We are about to begin our membership renewal “Annual Dues Program” for 2024. The benefits of Alumni Association membership are clear when you see our current WEB site. As a member, upon review of the news, social, and merchandise sections, one will realize we have created a web site built to meet the needs of our members, as communicated by us all, the alumni membership.
The 2024 membership renewal campaign is scheduled to go live in March, with those members who are not designated as “Lifetime” to receive an email from our website with instructions on how to renew for the 2024 year, with payment processing to occur via the commerce component of our website.
Your alumni association has developed the “On-Line” merchandise and membership renewal process to save money, provide a method for members to keep their profile information current (thus real-time updates to our membership roster), reduce the labor involved in processing of alumni business, and most importantly as a government recognized non-profit, maintain compliance with those regulations that apply to our association. Financials are posted quarterly on the website along with board agendas and meeting minutes, all as aligned with the concept of transparency amongst our fellow alumni members. Via this posting on our websites, members can see where money is spent (It is spent on our membership). Regarding online transactions, members can pay via check (EBT), credit card, debit card, etc. as with other online commerce sights you may use.
Although discouraged due to the time and effort in processing of physical checks, as an Association we understand some alumni members would rather conduct payment from their checking accounts via use of a physical check vice use of their account debit card or via EBT.
Payment for Association transactions via physical check:
- Please include a copy of your receipt when mailing your physical check to the Association for payment.
- Processing of transactions via physical check may take up to 45 days or more based on receipt of check at the Alumni Association PO Box, deposit availability by alumni staff, and bank processing.
- Members can use the status order tracking feature via the website to monitor your transaction status as the physical check is processed. Status will change from “On hold” to “Processing” once your payment has been deposited and cleared by Navy Federal in our Association’s bank account.
